Katie Otten

Katie OttenYou can hear Katie welcoming you to listen at the beginning of every episode. She received her Master’s degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Nebraska – Omaha in May 2018. Her Bachelor’s is in Theatre Education from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She has acted onstage with the Rose Theatre, Nebraska Shakespeare, the Bluebarn Theatre, among others, and can be seen on film in various projects. She has taught theatre to grades PreK – 12 and loves using theatre to teach important life skills. She is also a voice actor and has worked on several audiobooks, video games, and educational videos. Stu Burns

Stu BurnsStu Burns is a historian by training and a folklorist by reputation. His work has appeared in eTropic, Folklorica, Dictionary of Literary Biography, and European Studies Journal, and he is currently working on a book examining vampire folklore in the context of world history. He works as an analyst for an Omaha insurance company and is an editor for Fine Lines creative writing journal. He holds undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and serves as a Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

Mary Oliver

Mary OliverMary graduated from Truman State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in English and a commission as a second lieutenant in the National Guard. Since graduating, she has involved herself in various creative pursuits which include acting in two locally produced films, performing live music, and play writing. She is an active member of Corsair Players. At present she is excitedly pursuing writing projects with Bagock Games and a narrative form podcast called Haze.

Benito Garcia

Benito GarcaiBenito Garcia is a local artist who specializes in Special Effects for film, TV and print (Wetworks Studio SFX). Benito has written a SFX guide book (Special Effects Guide Of Real Human Wounds and Injuries) that has quickly become the industry standard for real injury reference. He also enjoys Dungeons and Dragons and hosts live shows of himself and his friends playing online and in front of live audiences. He has been doing both for almost 35 years. Benito also writes and directs short films and is a big supporter of the local film community.
